Specialty proportioning equipment used for polymer grouting work.
Engineered Foundation Technologies provides polymer grouting services to the New England region. This technology essentially utilizes Plastics Engineering to solve Civil Engineering problems.
Slabjacking refers to the process of lifting a settled concrete slab. This can be done on a variety of slabs, including a sidewalk slab (for repairing a tripping hazard), an interior floor slab as well as a highway slab. The process is relatively quick and is minimally impactful to the surrounding areas.
Polymer slabjacking provides several advantages in comparison to the traditional cement grouting method. Injection holes are quite small (5/8" diameter), helping preserve the concrete. Polymer grouts are extremely lightweight (2pcf to 8pcf) when compared to cement grout (150 pcf). Polymer grouts can set to 90% within 15 minutes, helping put the concrete back in action right away.
