Mudjacking is performed using a variety of substances, including cement-based grouts and now an expanding structural foam. This new polyurethane injection technology has greatly progressed the effectiveness of mudjacking for concrete raising projects.

Mudjacking is a proven technology for concrete lifting and is eco-friendly as well. The process originally used a mixture of topsoil and sand, resulting in a sticky "mud-like" substance; hence the term mudjacking. As the technology progressed, mudjacking contractors developed a variety of cement-based mixtures that produced a much stronger substrate.

Mudjacking has now progressed further with the advent of plastic injection technologies. Portable high-tech equipment is utilized to deliver expanding polyurethane foams through concrete slabs. Both lightweight and strong, this closed-cell polyurethane provides superior mudjacking results.
